Charged with developing a Mother’s Day video on a tight budget, our simple execution was a smashing success. With user generated content, we crafted a simple message that resonated with parents to the tune of 75M views and 2.3M engagements. It goes to show that a great idea doesn’t require a big budget to be effective.

How do you make a case study interesting? Why not do it in the style of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos. This is an example of how we took a brand problem and turned it into a positive. Our “CombOver” creative approach brought the brand back from the brink and is doing better than ever.

After hours, I am a co-owner of a clothing company called Ten and Two Co. It’s been a great adventure taking all of the learnings from working on other people’s brands and applying them to my own. It’s a great place to experiment with social media and also learn brand building from the ground up. My partner in this project is designer Phillip Clark.
