Bucking all convention in the children’s cereal category, we changed the idea of what a kid’s cereal commercial could be. As other brands were leaning away from sugar and color, we embraced them. Pebbles becomes a catalyst to jump start a day full of DO’ing and making. No celebrities. No cartoons. Just the pure joy and fun that comes with eating a bowl full of sugared confetti! This is the spot that kicked off the Yabba Dabba Doo! campaign. It’s still running years later because of its continued success.

Following the launch, we kept the fun and momentum going for the brand by re-inventing the classic Flintstones opening. Using ideas from the cartoon, we created a fantastical journey to school for our inventive and precocious heroine. When you start your day with Pebbles, who knows what can happen!

Created several years of eye grabbing fun, recipes & things to make online. Collaborated with a team shooting photography, video, animating, and occasionally even writing some music.

 

DOO’ing Good

At the outset of the pandemic, we created 30 days of fun videos to help parents keep their kids busy, at the same time providing out of work creators and makers a way to earn some extra cash. The Daily Doo! We solicited artists from around the country to share their skills with all of those who were stuck at home. Kids (and many adults) learned everything from magic tricks to lasso skills. I led the team curating our talent, directing them remotely, and overseeing post-production.
